Traffic Division

Another specialized division of our Street Division is Traffic. The City of Rolla maintains over 100 miles of streets, alleys, and over 2,500 signs. The Traffic Division is responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of not only these street signs, but also the traffic signals located on Pine and Rolla Streets and the Soest Road and Pinetree Road intersection.

Pavement markings are applied at least once per year and in some high traffic areas, as often as necessary. This department also provides traffic control for pavement maintenance operations such as street reconstruction, asphalt overlays or major patching.
