Crime is a community concern, and we at the Rolla Police Department are interested in what our citizens think. If you have particular thoughts about issues of safety and security of concern to Rolla residents, we need to know. Whether it's a particular spot that would benefit from a stronger police presence, suggestions to improve the sharing of information and the building of a true community partnership, or anything else, we urge you to let us know of any areas we need to address. Suggestions can be directed to the Chief's office, or to our Community Service Officer. Or, for your convenience, you can simply use this link:
While our officers are expected to exhibit a high degree of professionalism in their conduct, we realize that not all contacts with members of the Department will occur under the most amiable of circumstances. Complaints regarding the actions or behavior of any officer of the RPD are taken seriously, and will be accepted and dealt with according to the manner in which the complaint is received. As long as the complainant is identified and wishes to make a formal complaint we will conduct a thorough examination of the available factual information, a finding is made that will either sustain or exclude the complaint, at which time a determination will be made on whether corrective or disciplinary action will take place, or exonerate the officer involved.
Remarks, commendations or complaints may be directed to the Chief of Police, the Asst. Chief, or any Police Supervisor. For your convenience, you may use this link:
