Municipal Court:
The Municipal Court of the City of Rolla is a subdivision of the 25th Judicial Circuit Court of
the State of Missouri, and acts as the Court of original jurisdiction in all cases involving
violations against the ordinances of the City, as set forth in the Revised Statutes of the State
of Missouri, Chapter 479. The positions of Municipal Judge and Prosecuting Attorney are elective
positions, and they, along with the appointed support staff, are paid as employees of the City.
Municipal Court Sessions are held every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. and the first Friday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the Municipal Court Courtroom, Second Floor, Old Phelps County Courthouse, 305 W. 3rd Street.

Fines & Payments Now Accepted at Court Offices
All payments for court-related issues, including fines for traffic offenses, are now payable at the Court offices at 305 W. 3rd. Payment for court issues is no longer taken at the Finance Department in City Hall.
