Municipal Court:
The Municipal Court of the City of Rolla is a subdivision of the 25th Judicial Circuit Court of
the State of Missouri, and acts as the Court of original jurisdiction in all cases involving
violations against the ordinances of the City, as set forth in the Revised Statutes of the State
of Missouri, Chapter 479. The positions of Municipal Judge and Prosecuting Attorney are elective
positions, and they, along with the appointed support staff, are paid as employees of the City.
Municipal Court Sessions are held on the following days of each month:
- The first Tuesday at 5:30pm
- The fourth Tuesday at 5:30pm
- The fifth Tuesday at 5:30pm (if there are is a fifth Tuesday)
- The third Thursday at 8:30am
All court sessions are held in the Rolla City Council Chambers, located in City Hall at 901 North Elm street.

Fines & Payments Now Accepted at Court Offices
All payments for court-related issues, including fines for traffic offenses, are now payable at the Court offices located on the 2nd Floor in City Hall, 901 North Elm Street.
