Rolla Karate Students Fair Well in St. Louis Tournament
Karate instructor, Sensei Dan Galarza, decided that after some hard work his students should find out for themselves where they compared to others in the area by competing in a tournament in St. Louis. It turned out that they have been working harder than they thought and brought some medals home to prove it. The Shito-Ryu Shukokai (SSU) Karate School—Rolla, which trains at the Centre, has students not only from Rolla but from St. Robert and Steelville as well. The SSU focuses on traditional Japanese karate and the Centre in Rolla is proud to have them as part of their recreational family.
