Rolla National Airport offers numerous opportunities for both private plane owners and businesses wishing to locate here. The City of Rolla offers 24 total T-hangar, large hanger, and tie-down spaces for rent or lease to pilots and plane owners. In addition, JRS Enterprises leases 6 hangars from the City for sublease to private owners, and plans are in place for construction of another 10-space hangar to be completed during 2004.

Much of the 1200 acres comprising the airport site is non-developed at this time, and is under an existing agricultural lease. The largest business at the airport is currently Baron Aviation, which operates a private fleet of 33 aircraft throughout the central U.S. as a feeder carrier for FedEx, and is headquartered at Rolla National Airport. Baron has been in business since 1973 and a FedEx Feeder since 1975.
